This is my last LiveJournal entry ever.
I'm deleting it when I come back from New York.
Stalk me while you can.
And tell all your friends.
I need the bad karma like I need a hole in my head.
I've been through hell and back since I started this LJ.
Let's just go through the past year, shall we?
Since everyone seems to think my life has been handed to me on a silver platter.
Since last May:
I caught my dad having an affair.
I had to confront him about it.
I had to threaten him to get him to tell my mom.
I had a 40 hour/week unpaid slave labor internship.
I was told by someone who was supposed to be my sister that I wasn't good enough for the house.
I fought that all the way up.
Christmas with divorced parents = fun.
My mom put the house on the market.
I got a job promoting a viral contest on campus.
My school won.
But the company went out of business.
I made a really poor decision.
I got a sales job working 40 hours a week in the sun and only getting paid for what I sell.
My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer.
My mom had a unilateral mastectomy.
My mom started dating.
My mom is officially cancer free.
My house sold.
That's 1 year.
Don't you EVER tell me that I've never worked for what I've gotten.
I work my ass off every day.
Every single day is an internal and external struggle.
And you know what? For the most part, I'm happy.
I wish you all the same.
It's been a hell of a ride.

Refusing to go to sleep until it's done.
TOMORROW
Waking up whenever I feel like it, gosh.
Editing my paper
Emailing my paper to my dad, my sister and anyone who wants to edit it for me but NOT my mom because it's about the ending
Cleaning my room
Cleaning out the refrigerator
Packing
And leaving sometime between 4 and 7
Driving home with Rox!
SPRING BREAK!
Playing with my puppies
Until I go to sleep.

As those of you who do not live under a rock should already know, the Super Bowl is the biggest night in advertising. Even when I don't care about the teams playing, I'll watch the game just to watch the ads. Yes, I am one of those people. So after a bit of discussion in some of my classes, I present to you, a list with YouTube videos. I'm cutting it so I don't eat up your friends page, but you should look at it. Mostly because Super Bowl ads are typically hilarious.
So here it is! Part ONE of Amanda's Super Bowl Spectacular!
Some disclaimers - I'm not an expert (yet). These are just my opinion. You might disagree. I'm providing some commentary because I'm bad ass like that. Also, I recognize that it's very hard for me to like ads for brands that I don't like and to dislike ads for brands that I do like. That being said, I'm trying to be as subjective as possible in that area.

A coincidence that the lymphoma survivor pitched the clinching game? No. No, it isn't. There's something so magical about this team, about its fans and its history. They want it. They always want it. And this year they deserved it. And the hopes and wishes and prayers of the Red Sox Nation are answered, yet again.
It is a damn good year (or two years) to be a team that I root for.

It feels SO DAMN GOOD.
I felt so horrible yesterday... but after meeting with Scott (the Chief Client Officer) today, I feel a million times better. Which is kind of strange because I thought he would be the hardest on me. And then after the little round-table feedback session we did, and saying goodbye to everyone, I realized how much I really accomplished.
I left an impression on every department I went to. That says something.
I'm glad it's over :)

I don't really feel like uploading the thousands upon millions of pictures I have, so Roxanna just needs to get a Facebook, because she's the only one who reads this that doesn't have one.
Ms. Arena spent a day or two in Humanities talking about Hildegard of Bingen, an abbess (or something) who had these psychic visions that accompanied what would later be commonly known as migraines. I'm kind of hoping psychic ability, or some other form of superpower, will start to accompany this ongoing headache. At least then I'd get something out of it.
I feel yucky :(
And have no reason to post.

You know what's awesome? Watching a Disney movie that you haven't seen in quite some time, and remembering all of the awesome things from it that you forgot existed.

I redid the list of movies coming out that I want to see this summer. All of the May movies have come out, and I have seen ONE of them. Since I've been home from school, I've seen 3 movies, 2 in the same weekend before I went back for Julia's graduation. There is something seriously wrong with this.
Last night Mer & I started watching The Big Lebowski. An hour into it we paused because Steph & Di showed up... and never un paused it. I'm not gunna lie, I'm a little frustrated.
I have to fill out an evaluation of my department at Zimmerman and I'm totally not into this whole homework thing.
I had a rant here about going to Eda's pool and how I'm being antisocial, but I think I'm just going to stop whining and go.
